Im sharing this because there is a dog in the yard at the house at the lane way just east of Dundas and Leslie (south side of Dundas), that although is not chained, lives in the yard. A beautiful husky named Silver. He is there in the sweltering heat and the coldest days. Last winter, on the coldest, coldest days, I called animal services and was told they would check on Silver within the next 48 hours. Fearing he would freeze to death I called the cops. To be told it was not a police matter. Are we that cruel that we would let a dog suffer like that. He is still out there. He didnt die. But whats his quality of life. He doesnt get to run with a pack, roll in the grass or go for walks. Im posting this because Im going to do my homework early to see if theres anything I can do for Silver so he doesnt have to be outside for another freezing winter. Maybe its none of my business but it breaks my heard to see him through the fence and to push my fingers through so he knows Im there and that I care. https://facebook/dogsdeservebetter/posts/10152903015218729
