Im shopping at Marcs,. My phone rings and Its John. What do you need I ask? He says drop everything and come home there is a bat in the kitchen. I can hear the panic in his voice. Where in the kitchen is this bat I ask? Its in the sink and I have it covered this a sheet so he cant get out. Now I wonder why I have to drop everything its under control. I get through the check out with what I have and head for home. There he is with rubber gloves and a mask. All I could do is laugh. So I get a plastic table cloth take the screen out above the sink. Tape the table cloth around the window and and sink so the bat cant get into the house. John goes out side and climbs a step ladder and pulls the sheet of the sink. No bat. He wont move anything in the sink either. So I climb the ladder and with a rubber glove on my hand move a pizza pan out of the way and there is the bat in a cool whip container with 1/2 of water. He is cold a shivering and I feel sorry for the poor thing. I dump the bowl and get a tablespoon scoop him up and carry him the the back of the property and let him loose in the wood pile. My husband has new respect for me now.
