Im sick of all this cop hate bullshit. Its one of those things that really pushes me to my breaking point. I actually get very defensive over it because its a perfect example of how ignorant our society is. Nobody listens to the FULL story. Lets say a guy gets pulled over for a broken tail light. He did nothing wrong other than driving with a tail light out and he has no criminal record, but he has a pound of cocain in the car and a gun under the seat. He also has his daughter in the car. So, the cop walks up and what does the man in the car do? He pulls his gun on the officer and the officer shoots. He is killed. When someone gets a hold of the story, information is either added, taken away, or both in some cases. This is the headline the public will see: Black man killed by officer when pulled over for broken tail light. For a lot of people, this is all they see. So the spread the headline and information about the incident is misconstrued and twisted around into something else. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Im so defensive about the subject. No one looks into it to get the full story. It is spread around the internet without thought. Then the accusations start. Oh that officer was racist, or, he just felt like killing someone that day. If he does it, then all of them must do it. And like a freight train, all these ignorant people gang up on the police and we have incidents like the bullshit in Ferguson or New York. If you shut your mouth and comply with the officer, you go to jail for a night abd you get a court date. THEN you can prove your innocence. You cant prove your innocence by resisting and not complying. Thats where things go wrong. 95% of the time, its not the fault of the officer, but the fault of the suspect.
