Im sick to my stomach. The IRS sent me a letter a month ago which said that I failed to send in the employee W2s for 2012 so they are fining me $1300. I sent a certified letter (with the W2s) stating that they had been sent in 2012. I tracked the letter. The IRS wont accept it. Its gone from Phila to Utah to Ohio to Phila to Utah...... Now I get another letter stating that I owe money with interest! I call and the wait is 60 minutes then they hang up or disconnect. I may have to just pay it. But its WRONG!!! Ive never received the confirmation of them ever receiving the certified mail.
