Im sitting here at the airport reflecting on the week I just had. Its such a huge contrast of emotions. At the beginning of the year, I put out some things into the universe that I wanted to achieve this year. Among them was to to take part in NY Fashion week again. I never imagined that I would be able to co-lead a show. I cant put in to words how amazing this trip to NYC has been. I worked with an amazingly generous group of people. I was also able to share this experience with my El Salon family. On the flip side of all of this amazing experience, I lost my grandfather a week ago and really havent been able to wrap my head around that. His services were on Monday (I couldnt be there, but my heart and thoughts were). I have had high- highs and low- lows. Im very thankful that I have such an amazing support team around me, both personally and professionally. Thanks to Steve Trujillo , and Aj Garcia for allowing this journey this to happen. Thanks to my El Salon family for being such strong and talented group of people ( I was so honored to share this with you). Thank you Charlie Price for creating this opportunity for myself and my team. I am also so lucky to have such an understanding friends and family that have given me an extraordinary amount of support and love. I know I spend a lot of my waking hours thinking about the hair biz... Thanks for letting me. I come back home ready to see my family and ready to be home with my love, Chuck.
