Im sitting here doing a load of laundry to get ready for Nicks baseball game tomorrow (playing for the Johnny Bench Baseball Tournament championship!) and Im reflecting on what I was doing 17 years ago this moment/today. ...I again was not asleep at this time. I was too excited to sleep...I was about to marry my best friend. Heres what Ive learned: Along our journey together we have experienced many events, some really good and some really bad. And heres what Ive come to realize...the really good memories are what keeps me smiling and all gushy lol. But theres something good that has come out of our difficult times...its made us stronger as a couple. Im so glad that I get to share my life with him. He is my biggest fan, my rock, my security, my refuge, my quiet place, the father to my children, and my best friend. (And I cant forget my own personal comedian lol!) I thank The Lord everything for the gift of Matt and I pray He continues to bless us! Happy Anniversary Matt Janning! I loved you then, I love you now, and Ill love you forever!
