Im sitting in the ER waiting room, looking around...and its heartbreaking. Theres an old man who cant stop shaking, waiting for his ride, the nurses dont hide they are annoyed with him, he tries to get up to get a drink of water and falls face first splitting his head open. Not one person looked away from their cell phones and I got snapped at for rushing to him. The lack of care and concern we have for our elderly hurts me to the core.
