Im sitting on the train, and a young girl came and sat across from me. I shot her a smile and we started talking. Turns out she was homeless. And was struggling to get her feet on the ground because no one would give her a shot, shes grown up with abuse and had gotten into some messed up habits and she was trying to clean up her act and go back to school. So I sat there talking to her for about 20 minutes. I told her that things happen for a reason and that shell be okay, considering shes as young as I am. We exchanged stories and I could actually feel myself tearing up. Just find somewhere safe and if I ever see her again, Ill take her out to lunch, gave her my name and number. And she started crying, hugged me, and turns around and says. I wish there was more people like you in the world Jorden, youre the only one thats even taken the time to talk to me She gave me a smoke as a thank you, and I wished her luck. Goodluck beautiful. Youll be okay. Just hang in there. ❤️
