Im sitting with a massive problem here, in the form of an equally massive watermelon which I bought in Northern Transvaal on Friday. Yesterday I put the melon in the fridge hoping to snack on it while listening to a broadcast of the Soweto derby on radio. And then just as I was about to cut it up nicely with a devilishly sharp knife, I realised the melon is just as big and similar in shape as the head of the 1st Citizen. I couldnt get myself to do it. But I crave the damn thing. And now Im thinking Eskom will help me out here, you know, if I cut up the melon during load shedding at night, I wouldnt get to see the resemblance. Im waiting, Eskom...
