Im so Baltimore, I remember when the Plaza had fashion shows on Saturdays. Im so Baltimore I remember the highlight of the saints year was the Citywide Pentecost Fellowship at the Convention Center. Im so Baltimore I remember when everyone had colored contacts. Im so Baltimore I remember those pictures with the glossy print & ugly backgrounds at Mondawnin or Security. Im so Baltimore I remember people legit cried when V103 went off the air & Frank Ski left Baltimore. Or the 9 OClock club mix hour on 92Q. Im so Baltimore I remember structured jackets & shoulder pads were worn by almost all women at Midnight musicals in church. In so Baltimore I remember every guy wanted cornrows or locs. Im so Baltimore I remember the years that the AFRAM was at the Pimlico Race Course. Im so Baltimore I remember when you went to your zoned schools and those schools were EXCELLENT - we didnt have all these charters yet LOL. Im so Baltimore I remember vanity/name earrings & necklaces, R.I.P. T-shirts, and Italian Reebok Classics. Im so Baltimore that you really not from here if you dont know that Egg Custard is a flavor (with or without marshmallows is a case by case basis). Im so Baltimore what was considered a good job was working for Hopkins, Sinai, a college, or the bank. Im so Baltimore I remember when Harbor East was where were addicts & the homeless went to rest before hitting the streets the next day. Im so Baltimore I remember when Bolton & Reservoir Hills were signs of status or that you had arrived. Im so Baltimore I remember Towson before its luxury wing, and when they still had Rainforest Cafe (Im still not ready to talk about the fact that they closed that restaurant). Or when Old Town Mall was still an actual legit place to shop. Oh Baltimore, how I love thee!
