Im so Macon... Im not! LOL But, after having lived here for about 25 years, I feel I somewhat AM! LOL I remember the Krystal on Cherry st (where Lemongrass is now), I remember when Joseph N. Neels was open, I remember Newburys downtown on Cherry st., I remember when the Macon Mall was *the* place to shop, I remember going to see movies at the Westgate Theatre, I remember the $1 movie theatre on Riverside dr. (now Moores furniture store) & I remember when you could get a big apt. downtown for UNDER $400 a month! Yep, those were the days! LOL
