Im so afraid that Modern Christianity is becoming more and more self-centered and less and less Christ-centered. We have replaced the truth of the cross for messages that make Christians look like greedy opportunists rather than faithful followers of Jesus, we exalt the self instead of denying the self, were guilty of marginalizing the Spirit of God, diluted the message of grace, instead of restoring the broken we crucify the broken. Instead of teaching biblical truth weve settled for teaching our truth. Weve put clearance tags on consecration, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and prayer...reduced worship to what we want, verses what we want...just to say the least, etc... {Please Note: Im not trying to correct the church...in some regard Im a part of the problem... Its simply time for us to get out of this box. Get out of this paradigm. Reread His story... And humble ourselves and SEEK His face again. Because lets be clear, it was always about Jesus, its still about Jesus, and will always be about Jesus...} #GiveTheManWhatHeWants #GiveHimHisChurchback
