Im so amazed at how outraged at the spying that FB messeger does! No matter what part of our society that we are labeled to be a part of from our government be you from black, white, Hispanic, woman, man, gay, transgender, republican, democrat, or independent, social media peruser, or news media reporter....everyone seems to be sooooooo upset about FB spying on us. Yet....FEW of these people show nary a concern about our own government ACTUALLY spying on us and even trust them to do so(depending on who is in office and whose side they are on...Dems were against spying until Pres Obama was elected and Repubs gave Pres Bush a pass when he was in). This is so incredulous to me because FB which is spying on you to gather information from you to figure out how to target advertise to you or pass on gathered information to people who buy information on you so that they can market better (still creepy) the information that they gather while important and shouldnt be forcibly taken from you is irritating at best and financially comprimising at its worst. While...spying by our government is way more intrusive and can and will eventually lead to oppression and tyrrany because different administrations will target those that oppose its agenda and that is what we see happening more and more with each successive administration since WWI (history bears this out. Check out how the Nazis and every tyrrant in world history rose to power and stayed there...spying on its people!).
