Im so excited. Im all signed up and paid to attend and chaperone Kaylees very first field trip. Were going to Ridgefield Farm in October. Its like Belvedere Plantation. Im still sad that Kaylee spends so much of her time away from me but I love seeing how much fun shes having learning. Its so hard being a parent because kids dont come with a manual. Ive always heard that expression and as self-explanatory as it is, I never realize how big of an impact my decisions are, until Im forced to make them, or until Im second guessing myself. I ALWAYS wonder if I made the right choice to be a stay at home mom. Not only to stay home for my kids but to keep them home with me (all the time). I never sent Kaylee or AJ to pre-school and I always wonder if it would have been better for them. Maybe Kaylee wouldnt be as shy or as socially immature as she is. Maybe AJ would learn to be a tad more patient and transition between activities smoother. Maybe it was a selfish decision (on my behalf) to not send them to Pre K. I just wanted to be the biggest influence and role model in their lives. Plus, I just wanted to make lots of memories with them. I hope to God I didnt set them back by not starting them in preschool.
