Im so glad I was born in the early fifties.....My generation experienced the greatest music performed by bands larger than life, many of which are still rockin on today,some forty or more years later! From the early days of Rock and Roll in the fifties, 60s Motown,The Beatles, The Stones, The British Invasion, The Doors, The Who, Blues......I could go on forever!!! The days of 45s and vinyl LPs with beautiful artistic album covers beautiful enough to fill the best art museums Locally we were blessed with the Jersey Shore scene... The Upstage, The Sunshine In and of course, The Stone Pony!! Oh and the concerts!!!! You could see two or three headliners for a few bucks!! The Fillmore East and West, The Electric Circus, The Palladium ,Cafe a Go-Go, Maxs, The Bottom Line, and so many other small clubs throughout the Village.Yes...were all still rockin in our 50, 60s and 70s....and I dont know about you, but Ill die with my headphones blasting and hopefully, go to Rock and Roll Heaven!
