Im so happy to have boots in my house, there is no better Christmas present but Im already sneaking to the bathroom or any private room I can and bawling my eyes out because shes leaving me a week from tomorrow, how do you other mamas do this!!?? Hardest thing Ive ever been through, giving natural birth with no meds 4 times was nothing compared to not having my baby home and knowing shes going to S. Korea in February for a year. I really dont know how to accept this and the crazy thing is before she left for Basic Training I was all for this choice. I mean the benefits she gets and being able to retire at 37 if she chooses to is all great but the worries and fears of what can happen to her out weighs any monetary benifit the Army can ever give her! I seriously need a shirt that says dont mind me and my crying, Im an Army mom! Because it doesnt matter where I may be, grocery store etc there seems to always be something that triggers major tears that Im no longer able to hold in!! Why do I let my mind and heart take such control of me! We all say Stay Army Strong etc and, yes, our kids get the training to stay strong but there should really be a basic training for moms, parents to reach us how to be Army Strong cuz this mama isnt even close to living up to that slogan!
