Im so incredibly excited about the release of my NEW ALBUM next week! Next Friday, Ill be releasing my Tribute album to my friend, and true musical influence, Glen Campbell. Its entitled, Still On The Line...The Songs Of Glen Campbell. Its been a long time coming. Ive always dreamed that someday I could pay homage to Glen, as his talent and his songs have always had such a major impact on me. When I was a kid, I use to idolize him, try to imitate his voice, and as an artist, Ive tried to record songs in my career, with the same type of poetic, lyrical content and infectious melodies that Glen built his amazing recording career on. These songs speak for themselves.....timeless classics, written by many of the greatest songwriters of all time. What a joy it is to sing them again and bring them back to the millions of Glen Campbell fans who love and revere this music, as well as to introduce a new generation of younger listeners to this unbelievable collection of songs. This music should never be forgotten, and I hope you all enjoy this true labor of love album we have created. To my friend, the incomparable Glen Campbell, a man Ive had the privilege to sing and perform with, even the honor of presenting him with his Pioneer Award from The Academy of Country Music, I simply say may God be with you and your family and comfort you as you deal with the rest of your life. I pray that life will be long and happy. Thank you Glen for your kindness to me, your artistic respect, which means so very much to me, and for your music. May this album help continue an incredible legacy of music youve given us all. There will never be another Glen Campbell.
