Im so proud of myself for keeping my cool at the Husker football game yesterday. Some bonehead sitting directly behind me couldnt stop talking about how bad the offensive play calling was. I tried to ignore the dude but I finally had enough and had to turn around and confront the guy. Keep in mind that I already had visions of being shown on the Husker big screen beating this guys head in. (No Lee dont do it! Dont smash his head in and get yourself kicked out of the game, its not worth it). Then he says Tim Beck is overpaid. OK, yeah its worth it! Im going to smash this ignorant fans head in! So I get into a heated debate. Me: How is Beck overpaid when Sabin just got his 3 million dollar house paid for all while making 7 million a year!? Oh and Im pretty sure the Huskers just made $5 million at the concession stands alone today! Bonehead: Well his play calling is bad! Me: Im not sure you know this but the Husker offense is ranked 9th in the nation. Not to mention they average 40 points a game. I think Beck is doing just fine. Bonehead: Seriously dude it dont look like it right now. Me: Well it aint like youre doing anything to help the team. Youre sitting there on your hands whining like a little spoiled bratt. Youre quiet when were on defense and your lips are running when were on offense. Give it up bro! I finally turned around and ignored him again. Im glad i kept my cool and didnt do the things that were happening in my mind. I didnt get kicked out of the game and the Huskers won by three touchdowns!
