Im so sad that my childhood friend, my teenage love, (until his friend stole my heart), lost his battle tonight. Clif Pennington had a heart of gold, he had a beautiful soul, a musical talent unmatched, such a sweet guy, who shared his battle with us all. Clif touched many of us in different ways, most of us in a musical aspect, or as classmates. We have been in touch for the last 5 years, as he shared his illness with me, and many of his friends. He loved playing the bass, he loved the Beatles, and recording music. I am devastated that his life ended much too soon. He had hopes of recording his songs and music, and did everything possible to make it happen. Clif will forever be in my heart, and his spirit will carry on in the music we all love.
