Im so stinkin proud of Jackson right now! Ive been teaching him that the kennel is HIS domain and that hes able to come in and out as he pleases. Its been hard...hes a stubborn ass...but tonight I put a new sheet (he likes to bury himself in them) in there for him along with his bone, left the door open so he could come in and out as he pleases, and he buried his bone in the sheet and tried to bury himself! This is a HUGE step for him and its awesome! :-) btw....barking at night has ceased-that is until him and Lady start playing-and he hasnt been in the kennel at night for about a week! And nothing was chewed up! His anxiety has gotten better when hes kennelled when were out and he realized were coming back! Now, he knows its his safe place! :-)
