Im so thankful that it doesnt matter where I am, who Im with or what Im doing, I can approach Gods throne of grace with confidence, knowing the blood of Jesus has made provision for me and compensates for all those areas Ive partnered with God to improve but just are still in the process of being formed in His likeness. It doesnt have to be Easter for me to praise Him for that moment that would inevitably change the course of history and show the atonement ceremony the high priest had to perform once a year to be obsolete and no longer necessary. The moment Jesus committed His Spirit into His Fathers hands, and the Earth shook violently, the rocks split open, the tombs containing the bodies of numerous holy people broke open and the curtain that divided the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies was torn in two from top to bottom. The moment Jesus made it possible for the Holy Spirit to indwell my body and create within me a temple of the Living God!! No one was permitted to enter into the Holy of Holies with an exception to the High Priest and only he could enter on Yom Kippur. One priest, once a year, could come to the Holiest of All with the blood of an animal to cover his sins and the sins of the people but Jesus sacrifice for our sin and shed blood made a way into the holiest of all for ALL people. You and I were given direct access to what was once exclusive to only the elite. Jesus met the requirements of the sacrifice ONCE AND FOR ALL and an entrance was revealed that was for all people and for all time!! I now talk to the God of the universe as honestly, openly and lovingly as a child would to their father. Where there was no way, He made one. I approach His throne of grace with the boldness and confidence of one who carries the value of the blood of Christ.
