Im sorry I didnt visit you on the day that marked the 10th year. Ive decided that this is a day I really want to forget, therefore I wasnt here. I did think about you that day, I thought about you a lot last month, more so than usual. Lately Ive had some of the most incredible dreams about you, the most recent being yesterday afternoon. When I woke, while still in my sleepy fog, I was trying to remember where it was that I was supposed to meet you. My dream was so real that in my sleepy fog I was continuing on with it, trying to remember where you said to meet you. It took about 3 minutes for me to realize that I was awake and it was a dream. I went to Jimmys room in tears. I didnt have to say a word, he knew, as he always does, that I had either had another dream or was deep in thought about you & had become sad. He comforted me, made me feel better. Youd be really proud of Jimmy, the young man hes growing into. He is just an awesome young man! Yes, hes a young man of 14 1/2, but he is wise beyond his years & is always there for me. He doesnt know this, but not only is he my son, hes my dearest friend. Speaking on his behalf, he misses you horribly & loves you dearly. Like all children, hes resilient & has been able to tuck that horrible day into the recesses of his mind. He definitely deals with our loss much better than I do. Anyway, we love you, we always will. You will always be a major part of our lives here on Gods earth. We miss you daily, & always will. . . . .
