Im sorry, but I have to rant right quick. So Im looking at health insurance in case the kids cant get Medicaid. For our family its around $800, which includes $50 each doctor visit, $70 each specialist visit, $100 Urgent care. (Im looking at these specifically cause they are the ones we most likely use and the percentages are going to vary with each x-ray, lab test, etc.) Its just disgusting to think after spending $800 a month, if one kid needs to see a doctor I still have to cough up $50+. To top it all off since Obamacare was passed our government requires you to have health insurance or youll receive fines. I thought back to when Obama was saying how he wanted to help Americans, especially poor, get affordable health care and to encourage everyone to have a savings account and start setting money aside... Well between Rent, Health insurance, Car insurance, Energy bills, Water bills, Entertainment (now a days phone and internet have become pretty important), and other small bills (groceries, gas, oil, doctor visit co payment, etc) how the Hell are we supposed to set aside any money for savings?!?! And gosh forbid you have any debt, paying a car off, or just want to get something nice since were forced to work to pay for all this crap!! Sorry about the rant, but weve come a long way in this world and have gone up a lot of ladders and it seems the higher up we go the more money we lose. Dont get me wrong some of our bills we can do without, but I dont think Health insurance should almost equal my rent...
