Im sorry but... United States Navy veteran here... In the military we were taught that the salute is an ultimate form of respect. Of the ideology that so many Americans have on fire in their hearts... To sacrifice, serve... To do these things to HELP the world have the wonderful thing that we have. I have been out of the Navy for over 30 years now and I STILL carry EVERYTHING on my left side. Purse, groceries, boxes, you name it (my family makes fun of me)!! To this very DAY my right hand is free from encumbrances. THATS how deep is my belief in freedom and what I thought this country stood for was. It isnt intentional, it just IS. If I do carry ANYTHING on my right side (even so much as keys in my hand) when I walk, it doesnt set right with me in an unthinking kind of core-to-my-being, indescribable way. It just is. This video appalls me... What? He couldnt transfer the FREAKING CUP OF COFFEE to his free LEFT HAND?!?! He totally disrespects the service members who give undeserved honor to him.
