Im sorry but running away is the easy cowardly thing to do. Yes this sucks but pretty much almost 1 out of 2 people voted for Davis, so there are a lot of people who think the way we do. Ive seen Kansas and Emporia improve in a lot of good ways over the years Ive lived here. I had every chance to move back to Wisconsin, but I started a business here cuz theres a lot to like here. While Im unhappy with Brownback, Mast and some of the other idiots they arent gonna change my desire and effort to continue to make Kansas a better place. - Rick Becker Did the guy I voted for win, no. Am I bummed out, ya. Am I going to throw an epic fit and talk about how the sky is falling and put a for sale in my front yard, no. Ive lived in Kansas for over half my life now and Ive seen the good and the bad, but I love this state. I met my wife here, fell in love with her here and got married here. I chose to start my family here. Weve bought a few houses here, and now we are buying a business here because this is home and I LOVE KANSAS. If you dont love Kansas for all of its good and bad dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
