Im sorry but some people are so ignorant. I run a delivery operation for a major retailer in Buffalo. I made the decision to call all my teams off the road today due to safety issues and keeping them safe and keeping other people safe. So i am personally calling every customer (i dont have to i might add because thats what customer service is for) But i wanted to make sure everyone is properly informed. So i pitch it to them like this. I made the decision to call the delivery teams back to the dock for safety issues. I apologize for any inconvenience. The weather is supposed to turn into blizzard conditions rapidly so i want to make sure the delivery teams get home safely and we are not driving around these 26000 pound delivery trucks in blowing snow and in 45 mph winds. They have the nerve to give so much attitude and say they are cancelling their order? Or sigh in disgust?? Im sorry people my guys out there delivering have lives and their lives are more important than your things. These guys are people too they have families too. Most people are completely understanding but i cant believe the shit i get from some of them. You want to know a secret most of the ones complaining are getting their stuff for free from the government. ---Rant over.
