Im sorry but the Australian government are doing the devils work straight up. The new mental health act being proposed in WA allows involountary commitment of minors without parental consent, sterilization without consent, vaccinations without consent and the list goes on. They do open up the bill with the following: The Mental Health Bill 2013 gives unprecedented emphasis to the rights of consumers, families and carers and backs up these rights with a number of avenues to enforce them. I guess they hope everybody stops reading after the opening paragraph and takes their word for it.
