Im sorry, but this is just a mess. Its very sad for the family of this young man. However, lets not be naive. Police officers are trained and they want to go home after their shifts. They have families too. ANYONE, not just police officers, has the right to defend themself with lethal force if they feel their lives are legitimately in danger. If someone gives them a reason, they are going to shoot. Not just to protect themselves, but others as well. We dont know what happened yet, so lets stop making this a race thing. This is a dont steal and make bad choices to get yourself in this position in the first place thing. Tragic? Yes. Senseless execution of an innocent child? Hardly. When anyone of you is put in the same situation as this officer, or when you graduate the academy and carry a badge, let me know. Lets get the facts first. Im irritated that people are saying cops shot an innocent young black kid while he was crossing the street. Thats not what happened. This wasnt just done for sport. Let the police do their jobs. Shouting kill the police is incredibly stupid. Remember that when you need one of them to save your ass. (Also...saw one of Woodson terraces finest in one of the clips. #WooTonbuzzfeed)
