Im sorry for anyone who this offends, but I will continue shopping - TopicsExpress

Im sorry for anyone who this offends, but I will continue shopping at Wal-Mart, and this is why.. The Waltons indeed made their fortune off of the success they have made with Wal-Mart. While, I agree they owe a great deal to their employees for their hard work and dedication to this company, and yes that $25,000 a year is poverty level.. People who work at Wal-Mart arent the only people living in poverty. Anyone who works a MINIMUM wage job lives in poverty, and the way I see it you have two options. You can either A. Dedicate yourself to Wal-Mart, work full-time, show up on time and make a career out of it, or you can B. Go to school, get a degree and get a different job. I totally disagree that someone who works at Wal-Mart part time deserves to make $15 per hour. Thats nonsense. If you want to make more money, get a skill or a trade, or start YOUR OWN COMPANY. Im so tired of people in this country expecting things to be given to them. Im not saying their arent people who work at Wal-Mart or any place that doesnt deserve to make $15+ an hour. I know some awesome, hard-working people that have worked for Wal-Mart, but they dedicated their time, they worked harder than most. You dont deserve more than minimum wage just because you work for a family who is rich beyond compare, you have to work for stuff like that. And, with that.. I will end my rant.
