Im sorry it has taken me so long to post this, with vacations and new toys to play with and sick babies I havent had much spare time. As you all know leah was able to make it home for Christmas. This was the biggest blessing for our family. I know during the holiday season people get overly stressed with buying all the gifts, making sure they are perfectly wrapped , finding the best recipes for their Christmas parties, and finding the cutest outfit to wear Christmas day, forgetting the true meaning of Christmas. I would go Christmas without the gifts, the yummy food, and cute clothes as long as my family is together! Leading up to Christmas eve our family had to come to terms with the fact that our family for the first year EVER was not going to be together for Christmas. The day of Christmas eve I realized just exactly what that was going to entail, some Christmas traditions just werent going to happen this year, making my heart heavy because that is what I love most about Christmas, all the family traditions that come along with it. But then I got a call from Andrea while my parents were out picking up Grady to make the day a little less stressful for Jared. hey sis how is everyone feeling at home, is anyone sick? At that moment my day was turned around. I knew leah was coming home! I was so excited and promised to not tell a soul... But come on you know me I have a big mouth so I had to tell someone, Leahs uncle Lucas and I were the only ones who knew. We got the house ready and played along as people mentioned how sad it was that our family was going to be apart. Both Luke and I were giddy keeping our little secret!! The time had finally and our special Christmas present had arrived!! I hope you enjoy!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year! May your year be blessed and filled with as much happiness as we experienced Christmas eve!
