Im sorry to be ugly but, if we as Americans just allow anyone to just sneak in America. Then after so long after theyve been here say Well they havent committed any crime we should let them just stay! People as Americans thats how we are supposed to feel. Right? No no no wrong! Yes everyone should have the opportunity to live the American dream. If thats what you really want, do it the right way! Lets not say it ok to sneak in and if you dont commit a crime after five years you should be able to stay. There are rules to be followed to become a citizen. They were put in place to ensure the people that wanted to be here wanted to be here for good reason. If we allow people to come illegally and basically tell them if they behave for 5 years they can become legal citizens. Weve just let our country go to crap! Lets take 9-11. There were sleeper sthat had lived here for up to 10 years. They never committed any crime. Till 9-11. Hell the United States trained some of them. If it was the Iraqis that we were considering let stay if the didnt commit a crime within the last 5 years that wether they should have the right to stay here, would you still feel the same?As Americans, yes we want the whole world to have a fair equality of life but, if it will jeopardise my childrens chance of living the life that the men and women of our military have fought and died for thats where I as an American drawl the line. Its unreal the Times IV been to Wal-Mart and seen young, brave men and women my age that are missing arms legs or are drooling on themselves. Thats when it hit me. Growing up Ive seen older vets with the same conditions but it never hit me like it does now! These are are friends and family that are coming back this way! If you really look around youll see people so young that are deformed HEROS and if you think Its ok to just let anyone who can sneak in and the be givin the ok to become citizens of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Im my opinion that a slap in the face of the the men and women that missed thanksgiving, Christmas the birth of their children and every day that we get to spend with our families that we take for granted. With that said yes every person should be givin the same opportunities in life that Americans do. But Im not willing to sacrifice my childrens opportunity to let it happen. We as Americans should help others but only after we help out own!
