Im sorry to have to write about this ---- again. This Facebook page was not created to be a political forum, a soapbox, a pulpit.....a page to rant and then stand back and watch the crap fly! Everyone has the right to their opinions. This page just isnt the forum for them to be expressed in a rude and thoughtless manner. Anyone who posts in this manner knows that this is not what this page is supposed to be about. It is not something that is up for debate! First of all Im not good with words and I suck at debating so Im not going to get into a battle of words with anyone over this policy. Its been stated to the right of this comment box pretty much since the beginning of our journey. Ive watched some conversations that I havent agreed with but let them slid, thinking theyll just go away if folks ignore them. Ive ignored comments directed at me regarding the administration of this page. I am going to delete some comments and threads that I think are offensive and that in some cases many people have notified me about. I probably will piss some people off and disappoint others-----many have posted thoughtful well intended comments in response to some of those threads----the good comments disappear when the thread gets deleted..... I am sorry for that. Comments have been made in the past about me and the power I must feel as administrator. Whether you agree with me or not, I look upon it as a responsibility, not a wielding of power. Its just something I must do. In a couple cases I will go further and remove some members from the group. It is the last thing I want to do and I take no joy in it. But as I stated in my mission statement or whatever you call the ABOUT section to the right----Were not here to change the world, one argument at a time. If you cant live with that---start your own Facebook page, set it up the way you want, invite who you want and I wish you good luck.
