Im sorry to report that my exhusband, John B. McMillan, USPA #D2028 and former Special Forces Army veteran, John B. McMillan, took his own life after suffering from a devastating stroke which took away all his hope of mobility. He was a fine man and he remained a good friend to me and my husband, and was indeed the man who nagged me until I tried skydiving and got hooked on it. This picture is of his last landing several years ago. He lost his legs below the knees from diabetes, but he jumped several times afterwards with his prosthetics. We jumped out of a Casa at Skydive Dallas one year & as soon as his legs hit the airstream one of them flew off! Then he spun slowly around like a turkey on a spit in free fall until he opened his canopy. We had many laughs about that jump.
