Im sorry to sound so judgmental, but I simply must comment about the choice of lyrics in a popular song that is featured on Pandora Radio Todays Pop Hits. The songs title (WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT) is: I Dont F*** With You B****! and is repeated over and over again, through out the entire song. This, featured on Pandora Radio as todays Pop Hits?! Im ALL for freedom of speech and individual choice and God knows Im not one to judge someone else, but considering hateful, obscene, demeaning messages like this are referred to as Pop Hits, I think its time that we re-evaluate how we define ourselves and our values. Obviously theres been a huge shift in how our society defines what is acceptable, to the point of glorifying songs and even artists that seem to delight in spewing hateful, demeaning and senseless lyrics. Its gone far beyond shock value; the message of Its OK to disrespect, insult and verbally abuse another human being seems to be an acceptable way of life for many.
