Im starting to feel pretty comfortable at the movies lately....getting to think that the movie industry realizes that there are movie goers that are actually over 40, 50, 60 and dare I say 70. Last Tuesday Joe and I ventured out (Tues. seniors matinee, pop and popcorn $1.00 each) and saw the comedy (not Joes choice, he is not thrilled about a comedy) Last Vegas. Four male leads M. Douglas, R. DeNiro, M. Freeman, K. Kline, the youngest being 66 and the eldest 76, Ill let you figure that one out. I would love to dance with Morgan Freeman any time. It was fun....they didnt dodder around like a bunch of old fogies neither did they attempt to try to be a bunch of youngsters out on the town. Oh wait,,they did try...lol It was just right for this getting up there old gal. I think if I took my older grands they would get a kick out of it as well. This Tuesday we went to Enough Said starring James Gandolfine and Julia Louis -Dreyfus. I wanted to see this comedy because it was his last film and i am a fan. He was wonderful in this movie and she was perfect as his love interest. Sweet middle aged couple with Flaws both physical and with, well I guess a little baggage. I loved him...his belly and beard and all of his quirks. He was a big bundle of love. To bad hes gone what a great actor...Next Tuesday a little heavier fare Twelve Years a Slave. Now that is going to be good.
