Im starting to wonder if traveling is not not for us. Went for a wedding in Idaho(I am not the ho) js, left my cane at the car rental, drove through rain, sleet, and a snow blizzard, got lost trying to get to the wedding and left my purse on the plane going home and it flew back to Seattle without me!! I had a bad night wondering if my life was going to be hijacked by identity theft and how long it would take me to replace everything. I have to give props to Alaska Airlines customer service. They said they would contact the pilot when the plane was 30 min out from Seattle and have the attendants check under the seat were I left it. I got a call about mid morning the next day saying they found my purse and would Fed Ex it to my home in San Diego. When I explained that I needed my ID for an important meeting the next day, they agreed to fly it back to Burbank which is where I was and that It would arrive that same evening. I made it home with my purse intact and my faith in people restored. We dreamed about all the traveling we would do when we retired, however after this trip and the problems we had at the US/Mexican border last summer should we be traveling out of the country to Panama this coming winter?
