Im still annoyed by this, so I will share with you. Yesterday I went to the post office with ONE small package to weigh and mail ($1.19 worth of paper). Anyway, as I walked in I noticed only one person ahead of me and thought how lucky that was. No. He had about 15 small packages he needed the clerk to weigh and stamp. Boo. She had just begun weighing the first one when I walked in, then proceeded to talk about litter and un-picked up dog litter (as she referred to it) that people left in the snow making it unsightly and ugly. She used her hands to talk instead of weighing and stamping his mail. I was there for about 15, 20 minutes. When it was my turn, finally, she asked if their conversation had entertained me. No. It didnt. I wasnt at the post office to be entertained. I was there to MAIL THIS PACKAGE! Join a comedy troupe or a debate club if you want to entertain. Work at the post office if you want to weigh and stamp peoples packages. Sorry. Not trying to be old and grumpy, but sometimes Im old and grumpy... thank you for listening to me rant. Over.
