Im still digesting the info from this astonishing event. Snowdon and Greenwald were very credible, and if they were all the event had featured then it could easily have been the end of JKs political career. However, including Assange was unwise and the (possibly fake) Warner Bros email was even more unwise. These latter two give the right wing media levers with which to deflect focus from the real issues of GCSB spying on NZers and the possible misleading of Parliament by the PM. The Paul Henry Show was apparently a case in point last night. No doubt well see a different, carefully coached JK who avoids personal insults in the media this morning, and those latter two levers will be what he wishes to discuss. This probably wont swing the election, but in the medium term John Key is finished, and the constitutional implications of the revelations will eventually result in reforms of NZs governance.
