Im still feeling a bit sorry for the idiot who direct messaged me - TopicsExpress

Im still feeling a bit sorry for the idiot who direct messaged me on FB this morning to tell me how rude I am for not answering his message requesting I send him my new release for free. Then he blocked me. I FIND THIS BEHAVIOUR VERY STRANGE INDEED. Its like bashing on a strangers front door, demanding a cup of free sugar... then without knowing if that person is even there or not, ranting through the letterbox at them about how rude they are. Its a bit mental being part of this mad social media lifestyle we all lead, a digitally enhanced world, when you clearly remember back to when life was very different. Back when people didnt answer the phone, and mostly it meant, they werent in... and that was it. No bad vibes. No paranoia of being blanked. Do you think anyone ever came up to me back in the day and demanded my music be given to them FOC?? In the street? In the club? Face to face? NO! And the fact that members of the general public can have communication anonymously with artists and DJs these days makes people forget that for showing similar disrespect face to face, people would genuinely risk getting repercussions of a physical nature. For anyone else out there upset enough to rant at me over not receiving a reply to emails requesting my music, free-of-charge : 1 - HAVE A WORD WITH YOURSELF. 2 - GO GET A HUG OFF MUM OR DAD OR BF/GF 3 - UNPLUG FROM YOUR CYBER WORLD FOR A BIT, GO FISHING OR TRY ANOTHER LESS INTENSE HOBBY. CROCHET MAYBE. I HEARD PILATES IS GOOD...
