Im still trying to understand the rationale behind his sad passing. I admit that Im on the fence, and I dont want to jump to conclusions based on my ignorance, or to have my ego apply biased opinions on such a loss. Regardless, I admire his support of our troops, a subject that I am particularly sensitive to. The respect he displays during retreat is worthy of praise, and sets an example to those who just dont comprehend a lifestyle of service. Regardless of his reasons--or even how I (will eventually) feel about the circumstances--in my world, his passing is a great loss.
