Im still trying to understand why in the hell Black people celebrate the 4th of July. Or better yet why they celebtrate any of these holidays that have nothing to do with the bettering of themselves. While the so-called Founding Fathers were celebrating independence, our ancestors were in the fields picking cash crops. And not only were these White colonists celebrating breaking away from England but they were also celebrating the fact that they got to keep their slaves.
