Im still working on the PPA Database website and have made a lot progress over the past couple months. I added a column on the left side of the schedules table that lists which tournaments I have results from and what I am missing. Heres the legend for that table... – = have complete results P = missing all pro results p = have partial pro results (usually only the players that cashed) A = missing all amateur results a = have partial amateur results (usually top 5 or top 10) *blank* = havent checked yet If you have any of the events I am missing, please let me know. I believe I have the complete schedules for every year EXCEPT 1976-78. Please let me know if you find any events I dont have listed. (**For now, I am not looking for Pro-Am, Doubles or Seniors events.**) Im currently focusing on entering national tour events and not the regional qualifiers. I will get to them eventually, but want to get all the national events back to 1960 before I start on the regional qualifiers since I know those will be an incomplete list for sure. If you have them though, please let me know or send them to me. -------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT I HAVE IN THE DATABASE SO FAR... • I have every national event from 1996-2013 in the database with the exception of a few amateur results from 1996 & 97. • From 1980-1995, I have pro results (and most amateur) from every medal play major (6+ rounds & 1994 NC) except the 1983 Nationals (have nothing) and the 1985 Nationals (only have about half the field). I probably have about half the results from every minor event in that same time-frame. • Im currently working on the 1979 season and hope to get those into the database and uploaded later today or tomorrow. -------------------------------------------------------------- WEBSITE FUNCTIONALITY... • The EVENTS tab (main page) doesnt work. Im going to move the SCHEDULES page over and add links to it in the future. • The RECORDS page works and should be up to date. • The CHAMPIONS page will be changing and probably become the AWARDS page with a list of all the awards won by year (Stroke Avg, Putter of the Year, Sportsmanship, etc). • The TV SERIES page will probably remain, but I havent gotten to it yet. I do have all the TV series results though. • The PLAYERS, SCHEDULES and COURSES pages are all fully functional. I hope to turn the PLAYERS page into a • The PLAYERS page is fully functional. I plan to add links to the events on this page. • The COURSES page is fully functional and also just a list so far. This is one of the pages Im really looking forward to working on. I plan to add links for each course to pictures of the course and other information. Im only putting US courses in so far, but plan to add Canada and Australian courses to the list in the future. If someone has a list of all the Australian courses, please let me know. • A page that will be coming down the road is a head-to-head (win/loss/tie) records page similar to the one Richard L. Gillooly made several years ago. I always thought that was really cool. Im already able to do this, but dont have it online yet.
