Im sure I have some more gray hair after this week, glad the blonde hides it well. Last Tuesday, when this latest adventure happened, I was at work. Tim calls me (he doesnt usually call while Im at work) and says My leg crashed. Oh, I gotta go, the paramedics and the ambulance are here. Then...click. He was gone. I was 2.5 hours away. By the time I arrived at the ER, I had some choice words for him. Today, I went to the office. I was there, again, 2.5 hours away, he sends me a text which reads ...they are kicking me out of here. I call him and hes being released. I went to the office because I had to be at a meeting. By the time I was able to leave and start the long drive, I had visions of him sitting in a wheelchair on the sidewalk, holding a sign that read Idyllwild or bust. I told him he needs to get a new hobby and that Im glad his timing doesnt suck this bad in other areas of his life.
