Im sure Jessica would say today was her best day in hospital. She is so happy to have her rookie patch off her helmet and her black patch on. Chief Gervais, Assistant Chief Koenig and TO Tyner came this morning to change it out for her. Not a person came into her room today that she didnt show her helmet to. Physio was good as far as Jesss progress but unfortunately the nausea and vomiting returned half way thru. In true Jessica style, she took a break for few short minutes then still carried onto the bars to take twelve better controlled steps. There is no physio now until Tuesday but we have some goals were going to practice. Jessica has a lot if hard work and strengthening exercises to do before Wednesday morning when we have the swallowing X-rays and cookie test done. (No this doesnt mean she gets to eat cookies!!)
