Im sure a lot have seen or heard of her recent holiday performance. I just watched it. Stopped it 3/4 the way in :( :( it makes me so sad that so many people are terribly making fun of her. On the radio, internet. Thats a price you pay being a celebrity, I guess...kind of like football. you screw up big time and everyone forgets how great you were or how much influence youve had in your career. I cant even post her performance because it just breaks my heart. She was struggling but she looked absolutely beautiful. This is one of my all time favorite songs she sang. She was immaculate. I use to play this song over and over again on my dads large speaker system back in the day. What you hear in this video is raw talent combined w hours, days, weeks, years of training. No responsibility, only her voice. She molded that for the world to see. She is going through a divorce, has a family. She obviously hasnt dedicated the time to this part of her life. Very few could hold a candle to her in her prime. Her recent Rockefeller performance was very sad. I just wanted to hug her :(( she seemed frustrated and she still kept on singing. She didnt pull an axl rose and walk off the stage or a Simpson and lip sync. She put herself out there, raw, like she always did. This is how GREAT she once was. a musical legend. She will get it back! I hope!!
