Im sure some of our friends have questions about what appeared on the front page of the newspaper Saturday and here on Facebook today concerning Mark. First, the charges are absolutely untrue. Anyone that knows my husband, knows he would NEVER hurt a child. As for a bike being thrown, the BOY is the one who threw his bike down...simply because he got mad at Mark for telling them to leave. These kids have done nothing but harass our daughter all summer...telling her shes a fat bit#h constantly. We had had enough! Now whether the boy lied to his parents, or his stepdad lied to the sheriff, we will probably never know. But what we do know is he lied about Mark hitting him. At no time were any punches thrown. The man came onto OUR property and began threatening our family, we told him several times to leave, and he refused. He drew back to punch Mark, so Mark tripped him and held him down and told him he didnt want trouble, he just wanted him to leave. A couple hours later, he was arrested for assault!! Deputy Vickers had no interest in taking statements from any of the FOUR witnesses that were there, or from me. So we are in the process of having affidavits filed from those witnesses. I have no doubt he will be found innocent, but it still amazes me that someone can come onto your property, threaten you, and have you arrested. Meanwhile, not even get charged with trespassing. Go figure.
