Im sure some of you have noticed my political stance leans a little somewhere of the left. I remember when I first started watching Steve Harris posts and videos. He is a dear friend, an ex coworker, a good ol farm boy from Michigan and I have always loved him dearly. My nights working next to him for 12 hour shifts were great and I loved partnering up with him. But we never talked politics back in the day. I never realized his views until we began reading each others posts on FB. At first, I was nervous, ,thinking he just might have at best, a paranoid conspiracy theory issue, at worst, a screw loose. But as time goes on, the more I read, the more I see, I am beginning to see....he is onto something. My eyes are opening. Carl will be retiring soon and I hope to involve myself into more causes that I firmly believe in. I have wanted to for a long time but held back for him, for where he works. I have no wish to embarrass him more than I already have over the years. I may have flaws, I may have my weaknesses, but when I really believe in something, I will stand up and say something, do something. I am seeing many things wrong with so many things and the time will come when I will be out there. I firmly believe, and always will, that everyone else is entitled to their opinion and a friend with a bi-polar opposite opinion will not ever be cause for me to insult, disrespect, or terminate a friendship. I believe in live and let live, but I am alarmed at many things I read about and see. My views may change as new evidence/documentation is presented, or new facts....I am openminded and I know, things are not always black and white and can be complicated. That being said, Steve Harris, I no longer think you are a hippy...I know now, you are onto something.
