Im sure there will be a ton of reasons why we cant know, but i have to say i am mystified as to why the police can tell the BBC of Cliff Richards house search, thus destroying any chance of a fair trial if it proceeds as far, yet the identity of not just a killer, but a terrorist who may kill again, i say may, it is his intent. Dont think there is a valid claim to protecting the scums identity, any claim is negated by the way the media can splash out details of anyone they like and make spurious allegations and a trial is still intended to be fair? And dont forget that Lee Rigbys killers were known to British security services, not to mention that there is no direct proof we know of that proves any particular British Muslim is fighting with ISIS except those identified by themselves or security forces or journalists. So when some slip back through as inevitably they will, what then? How about every British Muslim let back in is given a few weeks to live with David Cameron, if they are safe to come back, they are safe to present no risk to our PM. For those that can be proven as much as the security operations are concerned, as definite terrorists, why not leak THEIR face and name to the BBC etc? Let British people see if we want to risk our lives or ensure these scum never get the chance to put 1,10, 100s or worse 1000s of Lee Rigbys to death. And also to remember is we WILL see a terror strike, like many agencies, MI5 AND 6 will feel they can best root out terror cells by monitoring who suspects visit and what they do, but what happens when they lose them, or dont get sufficient intel, or act too slowly? BOOM! Well then maybe in the interests of our safety, we should be told who these killers are, hell even an escaped con is made known to the press, but in this instance a known killer who wants more blood is having their identity protected.
