Im sure you all know that election day is this coming Tuesday. Id like to remind you that voting is a privilege that not everyone in the world can enjoy. So, I want to say this first: get out and vote. Secondly, think long and hard about who you vote for in each instance, whether school board, state legislature or U.S. senate. In S. Dakota we also are deciding who will run for governor. Im certainly not going to try to tell you who to vote for. In regards to the senate race in our state, who is spending the most money? Where did that money come from that is paying for a TV ad on nearly every commercial break? The amount of money spent is incredible and its NOT coming from within the state. So, if its from out of state, who do you think this candidate is going to represent if he ends up in D.C.? It wont be S.Dak., I can promise you that. Weve had enough of that sort of leadership in Washington. We have one Senator that is repping for S.D. (Thune) and one that isnt, and that one is retiring. Lets not replace him with a R.I.N.O. that will rep for everyone but us. Use your precious vote wisely. Whether you vote for a Marine or a rancher, youre voting for someone who will remember where hes from.
