Im surprised at the disingenuousness of many in the wake of the US spies caught spying shock horror - but the two stupidest observations on the ABC here are Barack Obama says he wasnt informed, so we can safely assume that he wasnt. Huh? Nixon, Bush and Clinton all lied, but Obama doesnt? A trifle naïve I fear. The next one is the real howler, though - US/German relations now at an all time low. Yeah right, far worse now than in 1942! Is competent journalism now an oxymoron, like military intelligence?
